It’s like today’s minute cryptic was made for me (although it did take me a bit to get it).

Just today and tomorrow left to get your hands on this round of tea towels. I’m doing pre-orders only at this point in time, and won’t be ordering extra stock (I have a big workroom tidy up coming up, so avoiding adding to storage at the moment).

TFW you live in Wellington-ish but you can't get the wood burner to heat the house because there's no wind to draw the flames.

R is looking at my list of ideas for more Absurbirdies. He asked me what was the thinking behind the "Kākā barrister" and I replied "because that kea dismantling the Sky Tower is going to need some legal representation". "Oh! That kind of Barrister. Not the coffee-making kind." That'd be a barista.

Me, last night: I'm not sure I have enough ink to reprint these cards to take photos, and I can't be bothered taking 25 minutes to go to The Warehouse to get more. Instead, I'll use my newfound photoshop skills to make it look like I took photos! Me, just now: Finally done!
