Our team is in the middle of photographing and editing a whole bunch of species for the educational database! Here's a small snippet of what's to come!

A great outreach stall at the Leicester Botanical Gardens we had on Sunday! It was well received & we networked well!!

The Skull Index will be having their first 'Official' educational stall at the University of Leicester Botanical Gardens on the 30th June! We'll be having a great selection of native and exotic skulls to talk about, giving out free skull stickers & testing your ID skills with a skull guessing game!

An amazing Tasmanian Devil skull was added to the site thanks to collaborator j.k_wunderkammer!

Our amazing outreach and promotional volunteer staff, Grace, who you can find at @/grb.bones on Instagram did an interactive skull guessing game stall at @/themisfitmarket_ in Darlington, UK, and shared leaflets about The Skull Index!

We recently added a new menu page to the website, which introduces an alphabetized binomial name list of the species currently featured in the Skull Indexes public Database. We plan on hyperlinking each species page's as we make them! 1/2

We apologize for some lack of updates these past couple of weeks! The owner of the site is currently experiencing some health issues, we hope to get back to adding new specimens and updating species pages shortly!

Blue Wildebeest (Juvenile), Iceland Gull + Coyote have been added to the site!

A few new specimens were added to the site thanks to our collaborators, featuring a Common Raccoon, A 6 week old Lion, and a Tawny Owl.

A Black-browed Albatross has been added to the site thanks to collaborator and team member FoX-ray Taxidermy!

A male Fisher & Linnaeus's two-toed sloth skulls are soon to be added to the site thanks to Collaborator Sarah S. / @doedryadart.bsky.social ! Their pages should be live this weekend!

We're making good progress on the Skull Index and have now surpassed 200 mammal species to be uploaded to the site! You can check out our progress either on the website itself or on our Discord (both linked below)! Spotted gar photo for tax, this is one of the fish species we have featured.
