The Athletic ranked the Capitals in the bottom quartile of the league for all positions (center, wings, defense, and goalie).
Is Carbery really that good? Or is The Athletic underrating the players?

I think their rankings are generally fair there. There are some big question marks that could change things (PLD highest among them, but also Sandin for me), but the roster, frankly, lacks talent. Carbs is good, but he's not a miracle worker - team will need to get better on paper to not lose ground
