Balance in journalism doesn’t mean every story has two sides. It does mean you cover every story with equal rigor and precision.
@nytimes.com et al. are clearly failing to do this. It is as if Trump has disappeared from the newsroom’s consciousness.
A disgrace.
For 10/7, @nytimes.com Politics vertical has 4 stories on Biden, all on stay/go. They run 1 on Trump directly on his VP search setting up candidates for '28. 2 other related stories: JD Vance urging Trump to prosecute Biden, and Rubio loving Trump's immunity.
This is journalistic malpractice. 1/
He's not 'making news', as if his risible effort to "What, who, me?" Project 2025 isn't far more of a news peg than half of the gossip whispering they're doing about Joe.
