Hike in olive oil prices resulting in long abandoned quintas with olive groves being "remembered" by family members. Offers new paths to explore. Turns out not to be so positive. My Moça is currently battling consequences of a rare venomous snake bite.

Update. The bucket collar protecting drainage incisions on infected toxic abscesses above both eyes. *Please always "listen" to your dog friend's behaviour. Become aware of it's way of telling you that it's in pain.*

Favourite image of the many red carnations on display/ Portugal 50 years since birth of Democracy 25 April. ( Credit Art School, Porto.) I love that a flower symbolises this. It's many petalled, delicate, needs tlc to survive & prosper. Only humans can offer these.
