This is a very good recipe for pound cake except that, unaccountably, the cooking time is off by a factor of like two. I've made this twice and both times the interior has been almost entirely uncooked at the 40 minute mark when the recipe claims it will be done.
And this is not a problem with my oven, because all the other stuff I make finishes in the time the recipe says. This just takes twice as long as they think for some reason.
