Swedish Space Center launched the world's largest balloon today, a 60,000,000 cubic foot (1.7m cu m) bag headed to the stratosphere to research cosmic X-rays for NASA.
The larger size helps get the balloon to 150,000 feet, above the typical 120k, a win for hypersensitive instruments.
