Update: making some good progress! There will eventually be ten smaller pride flags (LGBTQ+, ace, pan, bi, intersex, trans, genderqueer, non-binary, agender, and gender fluid) around the central progress flag.
All students will feel welcome and safe in my classroom, or else.
I'm starting another cross-stitch project. I want a framed sampler that announces "This Classroom is a Safe Space" (or similar sentiment) with a collection of LGBTQ+ pride flags. On the list: the classic pride flag, progressive pride, trans, nonbinary, genderqueer. Any other suggestions?
Here's the planned layout. I tried to be as inclusive as possible without it becoming too repetitive (and without requiring me to buy a bunch of new floss colors). I also tried to place them in an appealing order so that the colors are nicely varied.
