As I was leaving my in-laws' house of a foggy evening, rounding the back of my car I looked up and made direct eye contact with a doe on the edge of the road about ten yards away. We stared at each other until a noise from the house startled us both and she darted back into the trees.
I was crossing Somerville Ave and saw these people in front of me sort of startle and then 5 furry baby raccoons and 1 mother raccoon ran across the street like bank robbing tumble weeds.

2 am. The Gunflibt Trail. Driving back to camp on Devil Track Lake after an emergency high-speed run to a vet in Duluth bc my dog had an allergic reaction to a bug bite. A moose wandered into the road and stopped and stared me down. It was huge and its eyes glowed in my headlight
I saw what looked like an ugly dog crossing the road. As I got closer, I wondered what it was, it was vaguely familiar, but I knew I hadn't seen one before. I got close to get as many details as possible and it showed no fear at my approach.
That's because it was a wolverine.
