Yes, this one was created in and for the spring season, but in a place like this? It's just as apt for summer weather. The name comes from that moment when temperature and weather change just enough to transform winter's last snow into spring's first rain.

It works a bit differently in summer, the clashing fronts taking us from temperatures near the century mark to 30 degrees lower in seconds, the heat producing storms capable of delivering heavy ice [hail].

This one is formed of natural gemstone and silver beads that embody all the colors and patterns of cloud and storm. At the center, three giant iolite barrels in rich violet blues are flanked by icy aquamarine rondels.

The large round white beads are actually coral, richly textured although they look smooth in their rendering on-screen. They alternate with large Dumortierite rounds, then are paired with single doughnut rondels of snowflake obsidian.

Above them, segments of boldly webbed charcoal gray Picasso jasper [also known as Picasso marble] and buff-hued cloud jasper spheres both end in single aquamarine rondels, like shimmering raindrops.

The anchor segment consists of two pairs of pairs, four small rounds in total of ethereal selenite, each pair ending in single small sterling silver saucer bead.

As noted above, this work was one of a complementary trio, all 3 pieces created expressly to coordinate, but all offered for sale separately. The coil bracelet in that trio is already sold; the earrings remain in inventory and are linked in the description, but not featured in today's post.
