After a few months break we got our first h/ello fresh box for family dinner tonight… And just to keep up with tradition, one of the ingredients was missing 🤣
I still like them though; delicious recipe ideas, arrives on time, brings the family together to cook&dine twice a week ❤️

Stupid mildew
🌱 Tomorrow is the last day where pesti-/fungicide gets applied in the vineyard 🚁
Therefore I went in and cut back all vines which were outside the wire trellis, or extending too far above it ✂️💦
Not sure yet if we‘ll have any harvest this year, the mildew is baaaaad this year 😕
🌱 No Zucchini and Eggplants for me this year 🤷🏻♀️
The slugs have been vicious, out of 4Z and 2E, this is all that remains. Everything else was eaten to its roots.
Not even slug pellets managed to save them, bc the rain 🌧️ washed it away.
Saw another idea with copper mesh on yt, will try it next year 👀
🌱 My herb tower died off during my vacation absence, they apparently didn’t like the sporadic watering service I arranged for them 😤
Let’s see if any of the new seeds take; we have persil, dill, lavendar, sage, thyme, and rosemary in the run. As we are indoors I think this could work out 🤔

🧶 Temperature blanket - July ☑️
This was NOT fun, holy moly. 😅
As I didn’t have my blanket with me during my vacation, I had to catch up on /three weeks/!!! 🫠
But yea, this probably covers the hottest temps I expect to document, with up to 38° on the purple days 🌡️😯
🍽️ Over the last few days I’ve made myself a Joghurt with fruit and nuts as an afternoon cravings snack. 🤩
The chill was refreshing during the high temps, and it felt way more satisfying compared to binging a whole box of cookies in one sitting 😅
