Bit of a long Covid bout yesterday afternoon/evening prevented me from doing much but feeling better today. Went for a walk by the river then drew a mandala rock with paint markers. #longcovid#mandala#rockpainting#paintedrocks
This morning's pour painting. I continued exploring "the other shore." Surprised when a loose boat appeared, providing the theme. The flute-playing monk has gotten to the other shore and no longer needs the vehicle that got him there. #zenbuddhism#pourpainting#waterfall#Buddhism#wallart
Been dealing with Plantar fasciitis the past couple months. It's been getting better but no long extended walks. After also falling on a trail, I decided on a cane and found this. The cane opens into a tripod and the handle opens for the seat. Sat and watched the river flow.
I got a chance yesterday for a little forest pour. Got out to the real thing this morning for a stroll through the redwoods :-). There's a small grove at the research forest for the local university. #woods#woodland#pourpainting#forest#trees#contemporaryart
Beautiful day to see "the purple road" of camas flowers at Finley National Refuge in Oregon. One of my favorite places to visit year round but this spot (and time) is particularly special #wildflowers#oregon#spring
Card I drew this morning to send to my mother next week with a package of goodies. She's been in a residential care facility with lewy body dementia for years. I never know when I call if she'll know who I am or when I am or even if she'll still be on planet earth. #handdrawn#mothersday
