Feels like a good time for a reminder that you should have at least a gallon of potable water, per person, for ideally two weeks, on hand in your home.
If you don’t have a ton of space, they sell stackable 5 gallon water containers for $10 at Walmart. Also get a water filter, like a Sawyer Mini.
If you know a storm is coming that might take out your power, also immediately fill up your bathtub. It can also be helpful to have water purification tablets on hand.
