It continues to baffle me that in Minneapolis it is illegal for me to pop into a coffee shop to buy a drink with my well behaved dog entirely contained in a backpack strapped to my body.
I’m not talking about trying to sit inside with my dog, I’m not talking about letting him walk around. He would not physically touch anything or anyone in the establishment. I just want to order a coffee and sit outside. Or take the coffee with me on the rest of our walk.
I just don’t accept that he presents a bigger health or safety hazard zipped into a bag and on my back than, idk, someone who tracks something in on their shoe or - frankly - all children.
