They apparently also believe that the country can sustain 30% of the population controlling the Senate and the general rural dominance because we all so love states' rights.

We see a lot of liberal lawyers struggling to understand this moment outside the written law. I imagine the conservatives see the Majesty and Power of the Law in an even more befuddled and ahistorical way.
