"Presumption of innocence" is a legal standard for criminal courts and doesn't eveb mean a person is innocent, it just means the law is constrained from punishing even the guilty without proof.

A thing I keep thinking about is how it's always possible the thing that will set a guy off is them seeing an insulting accusation in just maintaining a safe distance. Like guys who will start following you *because* you crossed the street. Or everyone who gets mad over the "man vs. bear" thing.
