Artists are like “I take a break from drawing” and then just draw something that isn’t their project 35 164 1066
LMFAO NOT THE PUBLIC CALLOUT 1 8
Now that's just mean, cause it's true 1 7
We all take this bullet, I'm afraid 4
God, I do this. THEN I lose interest in the previous WIP. Terrible for this. 4
Aint that the truth lol 😔🤣 3
how could you call us all out like this? :-D 1 1
(/)///(/) I called myself out 1 1
Artists must be the only kind of people willing to take a break doing EXACTLY what they do for work day in and day out. Why is this so is something left to the inescrutable depths of mystery 😅 1 1
The difference is that day off drawings have no deadline and are complete when you said so 1
What do ypu think programmers do when they are sick of their work? Personal projects all the way down. 1 1
That or playing Doom for hours daily xD
Me taking a 'break from writing' by writing fanfiction- 1
Hey! I resemble that remark!
Imma call out so many friends
THATS IT- WHO TOLD YOU?!?! 🤣 1
It's more of a mental break 1
I don’t appreciate being called out lol but for real though, especially when you’re supposed to be “resting your hand,” but you just can’t help it but draw
As an editor currently taking a break from being paid to read so I can read for free, I get it.
I was about to come out of my break …..
I wish I found just draw random things at the spur of the moment. I hate my drawings too much to make it a consistent habit though. >_<
Robert Benchley had a column where he said the secret of getting stuff done is to pretend you're >actually< supposed to be doing something >else<
As a game developer(ish), I play games when I get tired of making them.
Don't draw, but I can relate as I have up to 5 pictures at a time to color. Then boredom sets in and I start something else.🤣🤣
The phrase should be, I need to do actual art, and take a brake from stupid commerce.
I can only have so many hobbies!
