Amarillo council rejects anti-abortion ordinance, could go to voterswww.amarillo.com After another six-plus hour marathon session, the Amarillo City Council voted 4-1 to reject the original and amended versions of the “Sanctuary City of the Unborn" ordinance.

Of note: this is Trump's Personal Pan Pick Judge Mark Kacsmaryk's neck of the woods. Dickson and Mitchell undoubtedly thought this was going to be a walk in the park. But ARFA made their case on multiple levels -- logistical, practical, legal, moral, ethical, financial -- and succeeded.
