Today I had to set up an old school phone for my 87 year old MiL -- the kind with the twisty cord connecting the handset to the phone, long enough to reach into the kitchen. How did we not get all tangled up in these?

My latest summer read was THE NIGHT WAR by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. This book packs in so much history in an engaging story…and there’s a secret (but dangerous) garden. I think it will spark lots of questions from kids who read middle grade books. #amreading #kidlit #edusky

Today I read FIGHTING WORDS by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. This one was hard to read and included sensitive topics that wouldn’t be for everyone, but lots of emotion and a strong sister relationship. #mglit #kidlit #amreading #middlegrade
