Since 2020 I’ve taken July off from all social media for two reasons. 1) for my mental health obvs. 2) because my writing year begins and ends July 1st and I write more when I’m not posting.

I’m not a bird watching person but I was sitting outside yesterday and I heard this bird singing these INSANELY complex patterns. Like there’s no way it wasn’t saying something super specific. It sounded like it was telling a whole story. Do you know what kind of bird this is?
