Ever since Yuki’s resorption surgery (when we were so desperate to get her to eat I basically followed her with various kinds of food everywhere) she expects that when she lays on her towel that we let take up half the bathroom counter, I’ll also feed her.
Which I, dutifully, do.
Apparently cats randomly do a thing where their body says “I should really just suck my tooth roots back up” (not due to nutritional issues just for fun) which is dangerous because it leaves the shell of a tooth to crack and get swallowed, so oral surgery.
No, thankfully they found it as part of a check-up so it was only like four teeth in one area.
It’s crazy how bodies will just sometimes be like “it’s time to do something weird to you”
