It's just objectively wrong. For one thing, this decision required a POTUS who committed crimes so flagrant that they would be prosecuted. A GOP president elected after H Clinton in 2020 or 2024 (Ted Cruz or Ron DeSantis, say) wouldn't have. And with Hillary replacing Scalia & RBG & probably Breyer…
Hell, even if they sincerely believe “sure it wouldn’t be happening now it’d happen a decade from now” I’d prefer to delay fascism by a decade and have questions about anyone who doesn’t.
