You're right: They're all lesser releases after Blueprint. Blueprint helped get me through 2001&2 in NYC BUT Dylan's Love & Theft & Ben Folds' Rockin' the Suburbs are only lesser b/c of how huge Blueprint is. Again though: you're right. Blueprint is *the* album from that fall, let alone that day.

Slayer had the win for most unfortunately titled album that was released on that day. Just astoundingly bad timing.

Anthrax had a hell of a year right after that too

They did unsuccessfully try to lean into it though.
