The World’s destiny in the hands, and fragile male ego, of a straight white guy. What could go wrong?

I always find it sad how doing less work and just semi-cruising along on a job gets you promoted and further than… doing actual work.

Hard to explain wishes: I wish there was a YouTube Channel like Rick Beato’s but for contemporary philosophy and theory.

I’m never not surprised by how random straight guys on a podcast speak as though everybody knows their quirks, personalities, and backgrounds. Mind you, these are during first episodes.

I asked Perplexity for a Product Design brief example and it gave me something eerily related to what I do for work. Then I remembered I had added my profile info. I looked back at the result and saw it said in the beginning: Because you work in Y and have an interest in Z Incredibly useful.

Argument pro #Google: Imagine revolutionizing the world in 1998 and people in 2024 holding you accountable that you’re not the same as in 1998. The “ten blue links” argument by now is a myth.

@molly.wiki I loved your Wikipedia editor video. Have you made/written something similar regarding creating a blog/site? I feel there’s so much choice but still a difficult landscape to decide on.
