“Regression to the mean” is supposed to suggest that teams play closer to average than that there would be a violent correction in the opposite direction. But the Vikings have always been more about karmic retribution than statistical coherence. open.substack.com/pub/wideleft...
In Close Loss to Chargers, Vikings Prove That They Can Still Disappointopen.substack.com A team addicted to letting its fans down did so again. If this keeps up, the evidence that they could be good will be washed away by the reality that they won't be.

Been thinking about this whole AI thing a lot because these types of "stories" are how I started writing back in the day. Thinking about how we used to try to cram as many names in to each "story" because it meant that kids family was going more likely to buy the paper that day.
