Today I’m grateful that my food culture does not include beans on toast and mushy peas. 🇺🇸 peas are a legume, so if you add the right spices, you’ve basically got a hummu- *trapdoor under my feet opens* Given what people add to hummus these days it doesn’t sound that outlandish I’d much rather have hummus made from green peas than those chocolate hummus abominations, yes i refuse to believe those existed, even when i saw them with my own eyes.
