I agree. Seeing a lot of people wanting more and I think we’ll get it. But tonight was about calling it out on its face and was more political than I expected.
Ngl, I wanted more. The term “unprecedented” has been thrown around a lot these last few years-but this is once again redefining that term. I really wanted an unprecedented response to meet the moment.
That’s fair. I think this communication team has been lacking and clearly wasn’t prepared for this ruling. But he was concise. Clear. Adamant. If we don’t get more soon I will reevaluate but as he left the mic I was saying “damn straight”
the democrats don't have a plan. that's the thing. and a plan doesn't keep them in power with the threat of a worse alternative. Here's what you should do: go out and get involved communally. join an anarchist/mutualaid org and organize your locale to resist these incursions and build a better world
This man should go find the guy in charge of the country and get him to do something about this existential threat to democracy it sounds like.
*Taps earpiece* what's this? This is the President? And his answer to this immediate existential threat is... Vote?
Welp
It was a good response. I’m guessing that senior advisor Anita Dunn had the day off and didn’t have a chance to screw up his appearance like she did for the disastrous debate.
my gut feeling is that this is overreach: a case of, give 'em enough rope - I am more interested in the polls in a couple of weeks time after this SCOTUS decision than any poll on the impact of the debate
