Why are they so… SNK? Street Fighter? Both?!???! The grungy aesthetic is missing. My personal opinion is that DD was never that good and is fueled a lot by hyper specific nostalgia for 2 and the first arcade game but… eh.

They fumbled about as hard as anybody could have with these character designs.
