i've been thinking a lot (after spending a few weeks in france) about how, growing up in northern countries, so much fruit merely pointed to the existence of real fruit, like a variable in programming that stores the memory address of another variable rather than the data itself
I just put a farmer’s market strawberry in my mouth and holy hell THAT’s what they’re supposed to taste like???
