He was surpassed in 2021 by Joe Biden, who was 78 years, 61 days old upon becoming President.
If, God forbid, Trump were to win the next election, he would be 78 years, 220 days old.
Thus, although convicted felon Donald Trump is not older than President Biden, he would be beating Biden on the narrow criterion of age at inauguration. And hold a new presidential record.
If Biden wins, he will himself claim a new record, 82 years, 61 days, on Inauguration Day 2025.
