A couple pictures means it was completely empty and that there were no tunnels underneath. Okay. Sure, it could be. They could just be blowing up mosques for fun. So, motive.
Why do you think they would be blowing up mosques? Israel has nothing against Islam as a whole, only those like Hamas who outright admit that their goal is to erase Israel and replace it with an exclusively Islamic state.

I suppose the drone footage might show evidence of it having been militarized by Hamas, but I just don’t get the sense the IDF cares about building a case for a legal determination.
And even if that were the case, the fact that they were able to wire it up to demolish (clear from the video, maybe not the stills) is clear evidence that they had complete control over the mosque to begin with and it posed no military threat
