Just got a Launchpad update about an OpenStack SDK ticket I created probably 8 years ago when I was the tech lead. Didn't know Launchpad or OpenStack even still existed.
I landed someone's change in Ironic that was something like... 6 years old a few weeks ago. I hope they had a similar reaction :D. I found it in the repo, it was still relevant, rebased and landed it. #OpenStack still around, supported, and chugging along quietly in lots of big infra environments :)
One of my favorite issues I fixed in CPython involved picking up an 11 year old patch by MIT professor, MacArthur Fellow, and child prodigy Erik Demaine to add `shutil.which`. It was pretty good as-is as a standalone func, just needed some Win32 stuff IIRC and more tests.
