Non-spoilery opinion of #Acolyte: the finale was the strongest episode of the eight and Lee Jung-jae as Sol was terrific. But I agree with the sentiment that the whole script needed a few more revisions to strengthen it. The most interesting ideas were not sufficiently explored. #starwars

Looking for a viewing experience equivalent to dozing peacefully in a porch swing with a purring kitten in your lap while gentle summer rain falls? I cannot recommend #cdrama "Meet Yourself" (2023) highly enough. Slowest of burns but visually stunning and so emotionally satisfying. Instant favorite.

Not long ago, I went in and NONE of the registers were open. They were pushing everyone--no matter how full their carts--to self-checkout. Meanwhile, every staff person in the store was standing there monitoring us, helping us with screw ups, and complaining loudly about their cut hours. 3/

Hearing everyone's stories of what they did during the #Eclipse was almost as fun as the eclipse itself.

I recognize I'm in the minority, but I've used Goodreads since 2008 as a tracking tool for what I read--and only that. I *never* use it for book recommendations, and almost never look at other people's reviews. Reading preferences are too personal.
