📢 App Version 1.62 (2/5) • Typing text is now much more reliable on Android. Composing posts, editing your profile, and filing reports should work again. • Account creation on iOS no longer freezes while inputting the invite code. • User avatars should reliably show when you tap to open them.

📢 App Version 1.62 (3/5) • Android should no longer suffer from blank or dimmed screens. • The dropdown menu on posts should no longer trigger accidentally while scrolling. • The dropdown menu now reliably goes away when you tap outside of them. • On Web, the dropdown menu got a few visual updates.

📢 App Version 1.62 (4/5) • On Web desktop, the search screen now puts the "search input" in the middle column, where you probably expected it to be. Thanks @mozzius.dev! • On mobile, the search interface should respond to taps a little more conveniently thanks to some improvements by @haileyok.com

📢 App Version 1.62 (5/5) • The Spanish and German translations of the interface have been disabled while we fix them. Thank you everyone for your help with this. • The post composer will now wait for link cards to finish loading before you can post, which prevents the "blank gray card" issue.

Please, no GIFs in the future. But if we must have them, don't autoload them, or at the very least, have this as an option (likewise tap to play). They're irritating and distracting.

I don't get people actively asking for fewer features. Gifs have been a part online communication for, what, almost 20 years now? The idea of >any< social media platform choosing not to have them is silly on the face of it, come on now.

Absolutely in favor of this! Please, please - no autoplay! That's annoying AF.

Or you can disable / enable auto play, which would be fair with everyone.

I would love love love to able to use the link card feature PLUS add an image. Because images add so much and often the preview image at the URL is crap. Will this ever happen? Thank you!

In Chrome & Firefox on Windows 10 ctrl+enter (num-block) still do a new line and not send post. In Chrome the emoji-picker do not use the dark-mode (Firefox is fine). The emoji-picker close itself after picking 1 emoji (bug or feature?) It ist anoying if I want to use more then 1 emoji.

Excessive emojis are annoying.

Once again, thanks a lot for the update, but we definitely need a "load new posts without scrolling to the top" ! Whenever I log into the app, I have to scroll back in time to find the last post I've read... 🙁

In Android, double-tapping the up pointing caret on the lower left of the screen loads new posts at the top.

La navigation dans l'app Android est catastrophique. J'essaye de scroller vers le bas, au bout d'un moment ça freeze un quart de seconde, l'écran devient noir et la vue est réinitialisée en me renvoyant au point de départ (mais pas exactement tout en haut non plus). Et c'est systématique.
