@laurenshof.online It’s interesting that they published this post in Japanese as well. It seems to go in the same direction as your observations about the growth of the Japanese-speaking user base.
Do you want the old Twitter account that comes to bluesky from Twitter, or do you want to use bluesky? What will you do if it gets too big and it becomes no different from the current Twitter?
Bluesky is trying to prevent it from turning into a toxic swamp, but they will need a Safety team to deal with the attackers when they show up. It has been so much nicer so far, though, if nothing else from encouraging silliness.
Looking at the posts of some of the accounts that came to bluesky from Twitter in Japan when bluesky abolished the invitation system, there are certainly posts that seem to just want a second Twitter and feedback. I don't know if that's the majority
