Picked up these guys at Powell’s Books (@powells.bsky.social) today. The hardcover ENIGMA was remaindered for $12 and marks the third format I’ve bought the story in. For what it is, that book is a match for WATCHMEN; it’s sad how obscure it still is.
Hell yeah. Every time I reread, I worry it might lose some shine, but the opposite always happens. That shit is timeless. It’s so perfect that issue one came out on the same month when the Vertigo imprint launched.
