When reading a book, you know who I'd like to hear from even less than Roxane Gay? A chatbot simulacrum of Roxane Gay.
Is the LLM writing new words in imitation of them, or is it just a voice impersonation tool to turn their written words into audiobooks?
As far as I can see it's trained on extended interviews about their answers to "likely" questions about the book, but then the chatbot can just make up other stuff and synthesise their voices for it.
Feel tempted to just spam it with Writers Festival-quality questions, but that's probably the shortest possible route to SkyNet.
I'll take that as a comment, puny carbon-based life form.
Why would anyone who has made the right choice (not reading a Roxane Gay book) want this??
