(in reality while I do actually see the appeal here and I think Manchin is unfairly maligned, I suspect he's enough of a turnoff for some voter groups that they'd probably be better off with a nice safe white male governor of a red or purple state - Beshear; Cooper; maybe Walz, who else?)
