Mostly dusty Xmas trees, some tools, baby toys. It was…underwhelming. Especially considering the other sign (on Alvernon): “LIFE-CHANGING YARD SALE —>” (Upon further investigation, the guy fessed up: he had borrowed the signs from a neighbor.)

Sadly, it was not. Unless you want to count momentary crushing disappointment? Because for a nanosecond there I held my breath just in case.

Do you encounter yard sales where you are or are they a purely US phenomenon? They definitely weren’t a thing in LatAm.

yes, we have garage sales but they don’t seem nearly as common as in america
