I wonder if a welcome unexpected side-effect of the increased media scrutiny on Democrats and their candidates is that there's been far more opportunities to get the word out about this stuff. It felt very under the radar pre-debate, now it's finally getting some needed attention
and between John Oliver and Taraji P. Henson I think it’s been moving more and more into the kind of media discourse that gets noticed by people who don’t live every day in the nitty-gritty of this stuff
