Remembered this today. Sometime last year my girlfriend typed me this message as she was coming out of sedation, but she then sent it to the woman she occasionally cat sits for instead of me.
An old friend died last week. We were at college together, stood by each others sides on stage thrashing guitars. In truth, he ended up treating me quite badly and we hadn't spoken in 26 years. But still… those formative years burn brightly. RIP Craig.
