PSA: LABELERS WORK!
The @profile-labels.bossett.social labeler just tipped me off to a scam before I wasted any time (or money!).
When Lars won the #mayllennial prize money, I asked where to send it, and a scammer quickly imitated them and was outed by the new account / no display name labels 🙂
bossetts is how the labelers *should* all work. automated information about the account that allows the user a moment to pause and do more research
people need to do this to become more savvy online, the nanny stuff just makes people comfortably ignorant
