For anyone not aware of the Master Lock paradox.
The red plastic lock is that one I couldn’t pick tonight. In the row of opens, are American 1100 and even an Abus Titalium.
But the cheap plastic $20 lock wouldn’t open.
For years, people have argued that if you take a $10 laminated steel cheap Master Lock and put the 6-pin high security core from this impossibly cheap LOTO (lock out tag out) into it, you’d have a $15 lock that rivals locks in 3-figure price ranges.
This lock, as it stands, is designed to stop people being killed when working in dangerous spaces like machinery and such. Which is concerning given it’s plastic.
