walkable cities are nice but have you ever been to a walkable woods... where you can walk in the woods for hours, days even and just keep on going and find little berries to eat or just gnaw on either bark or twigs
I have a bike I drive down to the old creek and I usually tie it up to a fence post by the road and go and chuck various objects to the water usually old boots or whatever I just find along the way. It's my little way of becoming one with the earth
