I guess the smaller version of this for me is traveling halfway across the country alone to go to this weird 24 hour movie thing I'd only read about online before... to co-founding a whole ass genre film fest at home that is now going on its 6th year.

I wanted to go in 1999 but couldn’t make it happen. I did go in 2000, and you know the rest…

I remember reading reviews by Massawyrm. Definitely some of the best on that site.

I remember the days when that site was so different. I’d often visit it daily sometimes just to see what’s new.

That’s pretty awesome.

Butt-numb-a-thon! Memory unlocked! Never been there, of course, but Aintitcoolnews was a great source that got me too into writing.

Probably me becoming a Michelle Branch fan with her 2017 Hopeless Romantic album, which lead me to becoming a fan of one of her main collaborators on that album, Amy "Ames" Kuney, and eventually, becoming close friends and the digital music distribution troubleshooter and YouTube manager for Ames.

Jenn entered the random drawing for the third one and opened up a whole new world of friends to us by being drawn.
