Here in Italy we have this big big Festival about crime stories called Mystfest. I don't know if bluesky knows about it so I'll skeet some of it this week. (In Italy we associate crime stories to yellow color. Prepara to a lot of yellow images)

There's an interesting problem in digital preservation, which is that preservation only exists actively. Only the things you actively move to new formats, survives. Community is probably the same way: it has to be actively maintained in order to outlive whatever spot it's currently in.

Here is my origin story. It’s a story about activism I did when I was nine. I saw that my brother’s Cub Scout badge book had different badges (Explorer, scientist) to my Brownie badge book (cook, needlewoman). And I was annoyed. Surprisingly, Halo Season 2 was actually very good. Not perfect, but very enjoyable to see, finally dragging a lot of the videogame lore on the screen. I'm officially a fan, waiting for season 3!
