What if the shark knew it was the 4th of July and was simply trying to warn against the dangers of burgeoning hyper-nationalism I think that was implied. at this point, i'm rooting for the shark. they've survived millions of years of evolution, and will outlive us by millions of years as well Not to mention consumerism and climate destruction rasing the likelihood of deadly human/animal encounters.
