David Goldfarb: I would be very surprised if we got Brief Lives. My bet is Season of Mists plus Fables and Reflections / Song of Orpheus. We can't have Brief Lives until after A Game of You, and there is definitely not time in one season for Season of Mists *and* Game of You *and* Brief Lives.

I'm excited because some of the characters named means that "Brief Lives" will be a part of season 2. It is the best Sandman story (imho).

Destruction appears in The Song of Orpheus. Barnabas doesn't appear earlier in the comic, but he could be introduced earlier in the show.

Or... Brief Lives will be part of the second season?

I feel like they may tease Destruction’s current location this season to set up Brief Lives next season. But who knows!

The other thing I’m thinking is … Dream is barely in A Game of You. Perhaps they might interweave some or all of Brief Lives in with it? Honestly they could do anything
