They're just recycling the same headline for EVs now.

Lol. Of course it's the Daily Fail. Typical.

Quote: "Arrival, once valued at more than $13 billion and backed by Hyundai and UPS." This is how their UPS delivery van should have looked like: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vkt...

Arrival even had two different self-driving autonomous race car projects: www.youtube.com/watch?v=74RA... And now they are bankrupt, just as so many other EV startups.

You do realize that the majority of all startups go bankrupt. Success is not guaranteed in any industry. In this case, if they were frivolously spending money building race cars instead of building their core business that says a lot doesn't it.

That's why I pointed out their race car project. To both show what they were capable of (if they hadn't gone bankrupt they could have some day run self-driving buses or delivery vans). And also that they wasted some money. But overall they aren't the exception. The entire EV industry is struggling.

How are AOL, Yahoo, myspace, bebo, geocities, etc doing. Companies rise and companies fall, some linger on.

The difference is that many EV startups failed right from the start @douglassfrisk.bsky.social. I have been monitoring the whole sector: 1. US EV truck maker Nu Ride Inc. (formerly known as Lordstown Motors Corporation) files bankruptcy (June 27, 2023) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nu_Ride....
