PSA: LABELERS WORK! The @profile-labels.bossett.social labeler just tipped me off to a scam before I wasted any time (or money!). When Lars won the #mayllennial prize money, I asked where to send it, and a scammer quickly imitated them and was outed by the new account / no display name labels 🙂

Wow. That’s pretty brazen.

Pretty fast too. Snagged the pfp, a username matching Lars’ display name, etc.

They probably have a script to rapid-fire assemble a new account and pounce on stuff like this.
